Kimberly was born January 19, 1971 to Josie Marie Bowman and Robert Turner in Baltimore, MD.

She completed her education in Baltimore City Public Schools with her siblings: John Paxton, Eric Turner, Anngenette Bowman, and Rashida Davis. Kim enjoyed laughing, singing and cooking. She had a laugh that was out of this world! Hearing her laugh instantly made anyone join in with tears of joy. She was known for her sense of humor and helping people even if it was her last.

Kim leaves behind 10 children, 6 girls and 4 boys: Keesha Marshall, Dominique Smith, Kirsten Blowe, William McCullough, Thomas, Iva, Paris Flanagan, CJ, Robyn Bowman, and Knowledge.
