King Brand, son of the late Gamble and Katie Brand was born on August 16, 1937 in Sumter, South Carolina. King departed this life on Saturday, November 11, 2006 after a lenghty illness. King also known as ''Warren'' by his family and friends was educated in South Carolina. He came to Baltimore in the 1950's. He worked in a bakery and did construction work. King also enjoyed working on vehicles. In January 1958, he met aand married Minnie Ruth Knight. From this union six children were born. King was a people person. He enjoyed being around and talking to people. He always had ''something'' to say. He was a family man and loved his children very much. King lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He leaves to mourn; his wife Minnie Ruth Brand; one son, Michael; five daughters, Teresa, Lori, Stephanie, Rona, and Amy; three sisters; Mary Mclean Neil of North Carolina,Rosie Long and Clara Guy Yearwood of New York; one brother, Lemmon Brand Vera of New York; twenty five grandchildren; fifteen great-grand children; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; eleven nieces, three nephews, a host of other relatives and friends, including a very special friend, Doris Harris and their dauther, Latarsha Harris; one Uncle, Willie Ceasar Hazel of Capital Heights, Md.
