IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kirk Rolando
Murrell
January 10, 1957 – March 26, 2022
Kirk Rolando Murrell born on January 10th 1957, to the late Florence Toliver and
Calvin Murrell.
Kirk received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System,
Graduating with honors and receiving his diploma in June 1976, from Houston-
Woods High School. After graduating from high school he embarked on a journey
with a successful career at Hooper's Industries. Where he was employed as a full-
time and loyal employee for 32 years.
Known to have a loving and caring spirit, Kirk enjoyed family time and loved
watching the Baltimore Ravens in their victorious wins, as well as going to the
Arena to take in a infamous wrestling match, while rooting for his favorite
wrestler, Rick Flair. He was an avid music listener and sure could carry a tune,
while listening to some of his absolute favorite musical artist like The O' Jays, The
Manhattans, The Temptations, The Whispers, The Spinners and The Four Tops.
just to name a few. Kirk truly enjoyed spending time with his daughters laughing,
dancing and sharing in old stories. Whenever you saw Kirk you knew you were in
for a good time. He enjoyed holiday festivities and when Christmas came to past
you could always count on being graced by his rendition of his favorite tune
"Silent Night" by The Temptations, with members of his family... joining in in
chorus. Kirk was very popular and well liked in his neighborhood. Hanging out on
Friday nights with his Francis Street/ Woodbrook Avenue entourage was always a
pleasure! Family was so important to him and time with his one and only sister
Chevon was one of his greatest joys.
Leaving to cherish his memory are: his daughters Ashley and Brittany Murrell,
sister Chevon Hayes, nephew Jamal Lewis, first cousin's Keith/ Lawrence Hayes, his bonus son Keith Foxworth and a host of family and friends.
