Lakeshia Andrea Miller was born on November 15, 1979inBaltimore, Maryland the last of three for her mother, Brenda Hall; and, first of four from her father, Andre Miller. On Monday, June 29, 2020, Lakeshia gained her wings suddenly.
Lakeshia, aka Keshia with the pretty hair or Beyonce as she thought she was in spirit. She received her education at Baltimore City and Baltimore County schools. She went to Overlea High School and Patterson Park High School. She also attended Stratford Culinary School where she received her AA in culinary arts.
Lakeshia worked at a couple of beauty supply stores where she practically ran the stores for years. Then, she worked at PDC for several years as a supervisor. She also worked part-time as a chef in local businesses. But, her true passion was being an entrepreneur selling her arts and crafts and dinners.
Keshia was a loving and devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. To know her was to love her. She would help anyone to the best of her ability.
She loved to cook for people. The favorite for her to cook was her seafood pasta salad . She would cook on Friday and Sunday and the whole block would come for a plate. Her other passion was arts and crafts . She loved making team wreaths and bling out glasses.
Keshia married her childhood friend Joseph Star Miller. Their blended, already-made family added twins to the family to makeit complete .
As Lakeshia gained her wings and is flying high, she leaves to cherish her memories three daughters: Jene Johnson, Jasmine Miller, Jolah Miller; and two sons: Little Joe Miller and Jarmari Miller; her father Andre Miller, her grandmothers: Bernice Childs and Harriet Miller; three sisters: Erica Hall, Denise and Dorothy Miller; two brothers: John Hall IV, Lloyd Miller; and one sister-in-law: Daria Hall. Also, two nieces: Daniera and India and two nephews: Malik and Little John; two grand-nieces: Zoe and Zari; two uncles: Albert Childs (Reds) and Calvin Childs-Bey; two aunts: Darlene Childs and Kimberly Stevenson; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and lifetime friends. She was preceded in death by her mother: Brenda Hall, her husband: Joseph Miller, her grandfathers: Albert Childs Sr. and Robert Talbot; and Godmother Brenda Peterson; two uncles: Edward Childs and Michael Childs.
