IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lamont D.
Green
July 11, 2001 – March 28, 2019
Lamont Donell Green aka 'Butta' was escorted by an Angel of God to the
mansion of glory on March 28, 2019. Lamont was born on July 11,2001 to
Lionel Green Sr. and Chey R. Gilliam in Baltimore, Maryland.
He received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools. He was attend-
ing Ace Academy before he departed. His mentor, Mr. Matthew Allen,
assisted him throughout his teenage years. He had future plans of joining
the Army, following his Big Sis, Briana Stone, footsteps.
Lamont was the family agitator. He always found a way to get under your
skin and then tum right around and make your face light up with the biggest
smile. He swore he was the man of the house. He had the heart of a lion.
When Butta wasn't trying to convince you he was right, when he KNEW
he was wrong, he'd be fixing something around the house. During the
summer months, he enjoyed eating crabs, playing basketball & football, and
taking over his brother's game. He also made it very clear that when you
was calling his grandmother's phone, you were really calling his phone.
To know Butta, was to know you was about to come out of your pocket with
a few dollars whenever he seen you. To know Butta, was to truly LOVE
Butta!!
Lamont was preceded in death by his late grandmother, Villett Christine
Green.
