Obituary

Larry D. Alexander Sr., son of the late Charles Alexander and Jessie B.
Cloude was born November 6, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland.

He was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System, He
proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably dis-
charged in 1977.

Larry professed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age. He was united
in holy matrimony to Harriet G. Chaney on June 20, 1990. This union
was blessed with two children.

He was a dedicated employee of The Wendy's Company until his early
retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family,
playing phone tag daily with his grandson, and watching his Kung Fu
action movie collection on his grand television set. He often listened to
music by his favorite artist, Anthony Hamilton, Larry also knew his
way around a kitchen and one of his specialty dishes was fried chicken,
macaroni and cheese, and homemade biscuits. He never missed an
opportunity to give his unwavering support to his hometown football
team, the Baltimore Ravens, with his clothing and opinions.

He quietly departed this life Friday, March 3,2017 at the University of
Maryland Medical Center with his wife at his side. He was preceded in
death by his sister, Vemell Cloude and brother, David Alexander.

His 'wonderful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife,
Harriet G. Chaney; children, Harriet Blackwell and Larry D. Alexander
Jr.; grandson, Cross-Michael Johnson; brother, Alan Cloude; sisters,
Gladys Riley and Sandra Cloude; a devoted niece and god-daughter,
Lakisha Livingston and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
