Larry Allen,son of the late Lee Ella and Marion Allen was born on July 27, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. Suddenly he transitioned from his earthly home on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Larry received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. He later completed his education at the Vocational School #298. He also attended Community College of Baltimore for 2 years. Larry worked as a entrepreneur for many years. Larry was affection- ately known as "James Brown" and "Playa-Playa" by all who knew and loved him. In 1972 God blessed Larry and the late Evelyn Lewis with a son, Shawn Dontae Allen. Larry accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior in 1980 and attended Biddle Baptist Church. Larry enjoyed singing, dancing and listening to music. He was afun and loving person who was loved wherever he went. He was proceeded in death by his loving mother and father, Lee Ella and Marion Allen; three brothers, Marion Allen Jr., Harvey Allen and Tony Allen; one sister, Yvonne Sand; his sons mother, Evelyn Lewis and one nephew, Tony Allen Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Shawn Dontae Allen; one daughter-in-law, Shawntay Allen; nine grandchildren, Shawn, Tiarra, Dayjah, Donta, Keshawn, Deshawn, Devon, Me 'Shawn and TakiaAllen; two great grandchildren, Marley and Madison Peterson; two sisters, Sally May Allen and Evelyn Gray; two brothers-in-law, David Gray and Lawrence Trogdon; twenty one nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
