LARRY BROWN, son of the late Hasson and Kaneikia Brown; was born on February 16, 1929 in Petersburg, Virginia. He departed this life on Sunday, February 17, 2013 suddenly. Larry entered life during a difficult time in history. He spent his formative years with his grandparents and parents in the south on their farm. He didn't have the luxury of receiving a formal education. However, life taught him many lessons. Everyone knew Larry as "Cool" or "Popa Cool." After moving to Baltimore, he met his life-long companion and best friend, Ann and out of this union they had a son, Larry. Throughout his journey in life Larry made many friends and was well respected for His Infinite Wisdom. He was a true friend and devoted family man. He owned and operated Paramount Barbershop on Pennsylvania Avenue for many years, and he also was a skilled mechanic. His passions were playing his saxophone, karaoke, bowling, watching western movies, cooking, singing, and most importantly had a story to tell. He is survived by: life-long companion, Ann; daughter, Angela; sons, Marion, Robert and Larry; grandchildren, Terrell, Sharri, Nisha, Tyronnee, Krystal, Lauren, Robbin, Lil' Robert, Jason, Astria, Lasson and Taquan; Ann's siblings, James, Abdul, Priscilla and Larry Melinda; and other relatives and friends.
