Larry John Edwards, Sr. Aka Bear was born July 8.1956 to the
late Clarence Mundell and Ada Gambrill in Baltimore, Maryland.
Larry Attended Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, Hanover, Maryland
where he accepted Christ as his Lord Savior. Larry was active at St
James Apostolic Church in Glen Burnie, Maryland; There He
taught Sunday School and sang on the church choir. He was
chosen to read Gods words during am service He also drove the
church bus whenever transportation was needed.
Larry was educated in Harmans and Severn Elementary Schools.
His education continued at Arundel and Corkran Junior High
School and Glen Burnie Senior High School.
Bear was not afraid of hard work, he worked in the Tobacco Field,
Anne Arundel County Public Works as a Foremen, as well as at
Piedmont Shipping and Receiving. If there was a job available he
would take it and give it his all
Larry joined the Marine Corps, after serving two year he received
and honorable discharge.
Larry leaves to cherish his memories his wife Barbara Edward, his
mother Ada Gambrlll, his children Gregory Lamont Johnson
(Deceased), Larry John. Edwards Jr., Schnelle Roste lefferson
(EllioW, Grandchtldren ElysciaJefferson, EvanJefferson and
Lamont Sincere Edwards. Siblings Joyce Gambrill, Paul Gambrill
Jr., Tyrone Gambrfll Sr., Clarence Mundell, Garfield Mundell (Dottie),
Wayne Mundell, Frances Brown, Pastor Mable.e Fletcher and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
