Larry Barnette Reed passed on December 2, 2017. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 8, 1954. He entered Job Corps at the early age where he studied to be a cook, a skill which he mastered very well. All his jobs he had were in the food industry. He was a member of The Village Baptist Choir, Men's Choir. He also was on the Dance Ministry at New Fellowship Christian Community Church.

He was a loving and caring person. He always had an encouraging word for everyone young and old. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Reed, mother Dorothy Mae Scott, and sister, Elsie Scott.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 11 years, Jacqueline Reed, sister Nellie Allen, sons Marcuse Reed, Marvin Reed, Marlin Reed, Maurice Reed, daughter Marquita, daughters-in-law Amber, Ayisha, Tanya, Kai, and Angel, stepsons Gregory and Glenn, sister-in-law Audrey Copeland, brother-in-law Arthur Copeland and Terry Davis, 11 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren, godchildren, James and Ingrid Coby and Tony and Eva Brown, special friends Lamont Clark and Carrie Long and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
