LARRY SPANN, son of the late Muarry Spann and the late Ruthie Hines was born January 20, 1957. Larry was called home on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 and answered to a higher calling. Larry was born in Brooklyn, New York where he also received his education. Larry had a great passion for bicycles, and he was currently saving up to get a new electrical bike. Larry loved his family and friends dearly, he truly adored his nieces and nephews. He was the life of any party he entered. He also had the greatest sense of humor, anytime he entered a room he was sure to leave them laughing. He was preceded in death by: his father, Muarry Spann; mother, Ruthie Hines; and sister, Brenda Spann. Larry leaves to cherish his memory: a sister, Roberta Spann; brother, Ronnie Spann; three nephews, Anthony Spann, Travis Spann and Levon Spann; five nieces, Octavia Spann, Melissa Spann, Jamasia Taylor, Jamecca Norwood and [arneena Norwood; great-nephew, Kaiyon Spann and two great-nieces, Rakia Fields and Halo Spann; two dear friends who were there at his time of passing, Jamie Chauca and Wanda Washington; a host of other great relatives and friends.
