Larry Alan Springgs, was born August 19, 1948, to the late Ida Johnson and the late
Thomas Spriggs Sr. Larry departed this life on June 18,2016 after a lengthy illness.

Larry was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He worked at the
Playboy Club, Ritz Club and Larry Beck's Trophy King. He also loved to do home
improvement and landscaping work.

He married Diane Jones on August 17, 1968, and from this union two children
were born, Nadine and Lamond.

He loved to sing, dance, and play his musical instruments or anything he would
find to make a beat on. He loved riding his bike all over Baltimore City. Larry was
a loving and peaceful kinda guy who loved his family and refused to stop looking
at his VHS tapes on his VCR. He loved his VHS tapes.

Larry was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Johnson Sr., Martin, Robert,
Thomas Jr. Spriggs; one sister, Joyce Butler and one niece, Geneva Spriggs.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Nadine A. Spriggs, Lance A.
Spriggs and Lamond A. Spriggs of Baltimore; sisters and brothers, Gloria Barber
(Wardell), Oliver Spriggs (Donna), David Spriggs (Charlene), Elaine Hopewell
(Charles), Stanley Spriggs (Lillian); his grandchildren, Lamond Jr., Kalynn, and
Khalil; eight nieces, thirteen nephews, ten great nephews, 15 great nieces, four
great great nephews, five great great nieces, one god daughter, MaKayla Brown;
one best friend, Roslyn Brown of fifty years, several lifetime friends, Judith-Ann
Jones, Carroll Middleton and Ed, and a host of other relatives from Philadelphia
