Born the last of
12
children, but never claiming the status of being the
baby, Larry Bernard Yarborough, Sr. entered this world on September 8th,
1945. He was born at Louisburg Hospital in Louisburg, North Carolina to
Paralee Yarborough-Davis and james Winfred Yarborough, who preceded
him in eternal peace. Larry met, married and created life and family with
the late Chrystal Lee Yarborough
.
Larry departed this life on june 7th
,
l 2017.
Larry moved to Maryland at an early age and received his education
within the Baltimore City Public School System. He worked numerous
jobs and later worked at the Terminal Warehouse as aforklift driver.
Larry had a magnetic personality. He had a way with words that always
made you laugh or smile. Anyone who met him immediately liked him
and was drawn to his unique sense of humor. He was a people person and
no matter who he met they left feeling like he was your best friend. His
caring nature led him to volunteering at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Larry gave his life to Christ early and reconfirmed his faith in April of
2017 when he was baptized at Mt
.
Sinai Baptist Church
.
He lived life to the fullest and could easily be found doing any range of
things from fishing to all types of board or card games. It did not matter
whether he was keeping his mind sharp with a challenging game of Chess
or your mind sharp with the competition of Dominoes.
Larry leaves to mourn his passing, his children: Sheila Yarborough,
Tanya Townes, (husband-Adrian), Larry Bernard Yarborough Jr. (wife -
Natisha), and Lynda Covington
(husand-Duane],
Two brothers, Arthur
and Avon (Elaine); one sister Ernestine; eighteen grandchildren, one
grandson, Anthony Aaron Jordan preceded him in death
.
Long time friend
Nancy. He has a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, great grandchildren
and other loving family and friends
