On June 20, 1949, Agnes and Earl Purnell were blessed with

son, Latif Shadee Karim. Latif affectionately known as

"Midge" was born and raised in Baltimore. Midge transitioned

from this life February 18,2020.

Midge attended Baltimore City Public Schools and also obtain

an AA degree from Hagerstown Junior College in the 80s.

Midge was a jack-of-all-trades, a mechanic, a man of all jobs.

He enjoyed cooking, sci-fi shows and movies, karate shows,

family trips and his favorite pastime, cars and racing. Also

Midge was a member and used his gifts in the Pillar Worship

Center. He attended the Pillar Bible College under Apostle

Johnson.

Midge has left so many precious memories of love, wisdom,

spiritual guidance to last throughout generations. We've been

truly blessed to have had him.

Midge leaves: his forever love, Paula; his sister, Sheri; his

sons, Chris and Ronnie; his daughters, Kiara and Shontia and

a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews,

cousins and many friends.
