Latrice Bolling came into this world on Tuesday, July 1, 1975. Born in Baltimore...raised in Cherry Hill and Lansddowne commuities, Latrice graduated from Lansdowne High School in 1993. She attended The University of Maryland at College Park, completed her studies in Government Politics and graduated with a Bachelors's Degree from The Unversity of Baltimore on January 9th, 2005. Latrice was a compassionate person who enjoyed conducting research, reading and she cared about the victims of injustice. That is why she studied Government and Politices with an eye on becoming a lawyer. She wanted to fight for others. She at one time worked in Washington D.C., for an African-American member of The United States Congress. Along lifes journey Latrice came to know Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Lord and later joined The Star of Bethlehem A.M.E. Church. Latrice deeply loved Bria and focused on among other things Bria's educational development. At the age of twenty-one, Latrice was constantly feeling Ill. The cause of her continual illness was later diagnosed as Lupus Desease. No known cure. Latrice researched this disease. She became the east coast spokesperson for the Lupus Foudation of America. She won national recognition for her published news article about having Lupus and the challenges of raising a young dauther. Bria would ask ...''Mommy how come you don't take me to the playground anymore?.... How come we do not do the things we use to do anymore?'' Latrice was gifted in her ability to explain things. Bria soon understood what her Mommy was experiencing and told ''...Mommy you beautiful and when I grow up I wqnt to be just like you.'' The admiration was mutual...Latrice expressed that Bria was her hero and she also loved her brother dearly. The Apostle Paul wrote in I Timothy Chapter 6, ''Fight the good fight of the faith. Takehold of the enternql life to which you were called when you made your good confession...''Latrice Bolling...fought the good fight...She accomplisheded the many things God had in store for her . That unsludes touching the many lives of folks she came in contact with. On Saturday, Novembeer 4th, 2006 at the age of thirty-one, Latrice was called home to be with the Lord our God. Among those remaining are; her precious dauther, Bria; brother James B. wiliams;, Latrice's Mom, Sherry Sharita Williams, step-Dad, James Harold Williams; Dad, Jeffrey Freeman Bolling; grandmothers, Marion King Bolling, shirley Giles and Marie Williams;a host of cousins, aunts uncles and many dear close friends.
