Laurie Louise Roberts, 67, passed away on June 15, 2017.
Born March 7, 1950 in New York, she is predeceased by her
parents Willard Woods and Trophena (Young) Johnson as well
as her sister Renee Starks and brother Morris Johnson Jr.
Laurie joined in holy matrimony with Wallace Roberts and her
son Guyon June 30,1970, and soon her family would grow from
three to five.

A graduate of Forest Park High School, she also attended
Baltimore City Community College and Essex Community
College. She worked at Westinghouse (the current Northrop
Grumman) as a soldering and circuit board technician. Known
for her wit and wisdom, she loved playing games, constant
jokes and activities with family and friends that were fun and
thought provoking.

Laurie retired in 2008 due to medical issues and spent her later
years in Ellicott City, Maryland enjoying the company of her
sons who stayed with her from time to time. She enjoyed
listening to soft music, watching old television shows and good
conversation. She treasured her time most with family and
friends and often reminisced fondly of the wonderful moments
shared.

She leaves to mourn: her parents, Willard Woods and
Trophena(Young) Johnson (who preceded her in death); her
sons Guy Johnson and Ryan Johnson; her daughter Melissa
Wright; her sisters Renee Starks (who preceded her in death)
and Miriam Simmons; her brothers Morris Johnson Jr.(who
preceded her in death) and Shawn Johnson; her grandchildren
Keisha, Taylour, Ryan Jr. ,Simone, Reagan and Shaquoria; her
great grandsons Kai-yan and Aamir. Along with a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
