Obituary

LAWRENCE WALLACE was born on October 13, 1941 to the late Andrew Lawson and Jeanette Lawson. Being the first born from this union he shared a very special bond with his mother until his illness in which he never wanted her to see him battling such a fight. He was affectionately called by the nickname "Boddie" by family and many friends. He was educated in the Baltimore City school system. He held many jobs throughout his life such as laborer and forklift driver. He held a Class A license in his earlier years when he was a truck driver. He also worked at Maryland Cup Company for many years. His last employment was at Satellite Logistics Group where he retired in 2006. Boddie had many hobbies, and a great love for pool. He gathered with friends on Wednesdays to engage in the game. Boddie also had a love of being well dressed and took his looks seriously. He was well known by his style of dress. He would be sharp as a tack from head to toe. Boddie was blessed with a son in 1962, Bryan Darby, and again he was blessed in 1969 with a daughter, Trina Georgie. Boddie loved his children and was always supportive in their lives. He later married Jeanette Harcum in 1994. From this union no children were born. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Jeanette Lawson; sisters, Mshinda Parvenu (John), Vera Terry (preceded in death) and Michele Brown; one brother, Christopher Green; son, Bryan Darby (Charlise); daughter, Trina Georgie (Sean); three grandchildren, Tyesha Darby, Bryan Darby and Destiny Taylor; four great- grandchildren, Ty'tiYana, Cody, Jamal and Aiyana; wife, Jeanette Harcum; four sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends; very special and dedicated friends, George Johnson, Jeffrey Harrod, Lucille Miller and Cynthia Creek.
