Lee Brice was born on October 28, 1921 in North Carolina. She relocated to Baltimore, Maryland in 1937 at the age of 16. She completed her education in the Baltimore City School System On August 25, 1953 she married Andrew Brice. From this union two sons and three daughters were conceived. "Mama" as she was affectionately called worked many years as a bar maid. She enjoyed caring for her family, cooking, talking, and listening to them. She also enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Mama was preceded in death by her sons, Andrew and Kevin R. Brice, her daughter Theresa Brice, son-in-law James T. Walker and grandson William Brice. She lived a full life complete with laughter and sorrow. As we gather today, although we will miss her physical appearance in our lives let's not just grieve, but also celebrate her life. As we talk and visit let's share our memories as her spirit continues to live in all of us. Lee leaves to cherish her precious memory: two daughters, Brenda and Pamela Brice; six grandchildren, Weldon, James, and Kevin and Gladys Brice, Latonya Ware, Kimberly Brice, and LaCarol Pompey, and host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
