LeeJay was raised in Baltimore, Maryland.He was educated inBaltimore City Public Schools where hegraduatedfromDunbar High School in 1975. He started hiscareer atthe Baltimore Sun and retired after25years.
LeeJay was a devoted father, husband, grandfather,brother and somuch more. He was funny, smartand family-oriented. LeeJay was blessed with two daughters, DontierLee Dunlap andJayd'e Lee Dunlap. There wasn't anythinghe wouldn'tdofor them.He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyedfootball,watching Judge Judy, playing horseshoes,cooking, music,giving his daughters, nieces and nephews lecturesand singing withthe family.
LeeJay leavestocherish his memories: his daughters,DontierLeeDunlap and Jayd'e Lee Dunlap; onlygranddaughter,
D'Niya Odom,brother, Mitchell Dunlap(Carolyn); sister,Lavonne Dunlap and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins,family andfriends.
