IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Leeavery
Stavies
August 1, 1956 – August 2, 2017
The daughter of the late Sarah and Nathaniel Bonner. She was born on
August 1, 1956 and departed suddenly from this life on August 2, 2017
to join with her soul mate Maurice Armstrong, Mother, Father, Sisters,
Brother, other family and friends.
She attended Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from
Edmondson High School. She then continued her education and
followed her passion by attending Baltimore Studio of Hair Design for
Cosmetology. She later then continued to follow her passion by
obtaining her license as a Master Barber. Lee Avery's passion was
making people beautiful. Her work spoke for itself and with it all she
shared her tips with all.
Lee Avery was a very firm, private mother and friend and loved
everyone equally. She loved giving her opinion whether you liked it or
not and let's not forget the swinging of the feet while telling it. With it
all she enjoyed roller skating, listening to the smooth sounds of Anita
Baker, Sadie, Stephanie Mills and other soulful artists. As the years
went by her love for hats especially straw hats became exquisite and
her all-time favorite past time became spending time with her grand-
kids and great grand kids going to the movies, dinner and even going on
a store run was fun. She will continue to be loved and will definitely be
missed.
Lee Avery leaves to mourn two daughters Lee Avery Stavies and Doreen
Downs, seven grandchildren Britney, Trever and Tamecka Stavies,
Quantel Grandy, Jade Hudson, Sonti Hayes and Jala Cothran, ten great
grandchildren Warren, Caleb and Zoey Peoples, Trever, Tai'lynn,
