On Friday, February 2, 2018, the gentle hand of God reached down to carry our beloved LEERINDA BERDELLA CARROLL home to a place of eternal rest.

Leerinda, affectionately known as "Dimples", was the only child born to Alverta Connie Carroll Miller on September 19, 1966, in Baltimore, Maryland. Leerinda was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She later became certified as a Nursing Assistant through PTC Career Training.

Dimples loved caring for the elderly and sick, she was extremely passionate about helping and caring for others. Her caring and compassionate spirit supported her family as she provided care to her maternal grandmother, the late Leerinda H. Carroll on many occasions during her lengthy illness.

Dimples was known for her vivacious smile and warm spirit. Dimples was resilient and courageous, and even in the face of adversity she always made the best of the circumstances. Dimples loved to clean house even if it was not her own. You could always find her cleaning as opposed to cooking, even though everyone knew she loved to eat and had a very healthy appetite. Dimples loved parties so much, so she threw herself a birthday party every year.

Dimples was the proud mother of two daughters, Ebony "Shanara" and Tamika "Meka". Her daughters and grandchildren were her greatest joy.

Throughout her illness she never complained. She did the best she could for herself as long as she could.

Her kind and compassionate spirit will surely be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Alverta C. Miller; two daughters, Ebony S. Thomas (Eric) and Tamika White; seven grandchildren, Vernon and Shawn Miller, Kamiya Grooms, Eric and Evan Thomas, Janiya Billingsley and Brandon Thomas; four aunts, Deborah Carroll, Linda L. Pittman (Pedro), Bertha Carroll-Prince (Elijah), Lisa Carroll-Holmes (Shelvie); special cousins, LaShone Stamper, Gregory Carroll Sr. and Anthony Dorsey; and a host of family and friends.
