Leon A. Griffin, son of the late Alicia Griffin and Leon A. Griffin, Sr., was born on March 2, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on February 10, 2011. He attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Leon had a passion for computers and went to school for AT Certification. He loved tennis, boxing, wrestling, chess, football and most of all basketball. Leading him to earn the nickname, "Ball." Most people didn't know that Leon seriously wanted to be a radio announcer/DJ/ Although his most favorite thing to do was to spend time with his two daughters and grandson. He was married to Marie A. Johnson-Griffin for three and a half years. Leon was a truly devoted husband, father and grandfather. He spent countless hours on the phone doing homework with his daughter Chelsea. He leaves dto mourn; his wife, Marie Johnson-Griffin: two daughters, Candice Brook Griffin and Chelsea Alicia Griffin; and their mother, Sandra Nsude; grandson, Cameryn L. Hill. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Keith and sister, Georgetta. He is also survivived by his brothers, George, Jerry and James and a host of other relatives and friends.
