LEONARD HARRIS, son of the late Flora Elizabeth Jennings and William Harris, was born on September 12, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland. He passed from this life on October 31, 2011. Leonard received his formal education in the Baltimore Public School System. He later married his childhood sweetheart, Frances Williams, and they were married for fifty-six years. At the age of twenty-one, he entered the United States Army and served from 1957-1959. After serving in the military he later became a tractor trailer driver for over forty years. Leonard was a avid traveller and took great pride in sharing his numerous adventures on the road with famiy and friends. Leonard was blessed with two daughters, Alice Harris and Lenore Hayes; a son-in-law, Langley Hayes; and three granddaughters, Jessica Hayes, Nicole McAdoo and Leeza Hayes. He also leaves to mourn: one brother, Edward Harris and his family; one sister, Ethel Jones and her companion, Joseph Henry; and a host of other family and friends. He enjoyed the time he spent with his family. He would play his music loudly, tease and taunt ladies, and would then later love them up. He also loved to bowl, go to the movies, participate in karoake and would have his occasional night out to his favorite social club. He was friendly and outgoing, and always willing to help whoever needed it. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him
