Leroy Anderson, son of the late Agatha and Charles Anderson, was born on November 21, 1920 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at BonSecours Hospital after becoming critically ill. Leroy received his education in the Blatimore public schols. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized by Pastor Harold Carter Senior of Neew Shiloh Baptist Church. he worked for Essay Meat Company for twenty-one years and retired from there. His hobby and love was playing the saxophone. He played his sax numerous times at various churches with their band. His other love was to go to Lexington Market on Fridays just to listen to the jazz bands along with his friends. He was liked by everyone who knew him and was known for his wonderful, funny sense of humor and jokes. His neighbor liked and loved him very much and reallyl looked out for him. Leroy had numerous friends, really appreciated each and every one of them and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves to mourn the children of Shirley Morgan who preceded him in death and out of that union five children were born: Sharleen Agatha Anderson, Leroy Anderson Junior, Rickey Anthony Anderson, Michael Angelo Anderson, and Sandra Dee Anderson Nsude. He also leaves to cherish his memory his former wife Annabel Jackson and out of that union five children were born: Barbara Lee Anderson Belcher, Douglas Leroy Anderson, Marion Anderson, Janet Anderson Ragler and Van Keith Anderson. He alson leaves to mourn his death: his sister, Estella Chamber and his brother-in-law, William Chambers; his brother, Clifton Anderson; and the children of Shirley Morgan, Harold Morgan and Linda Morgan Macer; and a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews; a long time, devoted friend, Catherine Gross; other relatives and friends.
