LeRoy Brown Sr., age 73, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on October 21, 2016. LeRoy was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 2, 1943 to Mr. Alvin Brown and Mrs. Lucille Brown.

He attended Sollers Point High School in Turners Station.

LeRoy was married to Odeater Tunstall on March 26, 1966; they were married 44 years.

Despite obstacles that would have held others back, LeRoy never made excuses and always worked hard to support his family. He was a shipping and receiving clerk at Domino Sugar for 9 years and an accountant clerk for Classified Municipal Credit Union for 13 years. Ultimately, he retired as a bus operator for the Maryland Mass Transit Administration after 17 years of dedicated service. He also enjoyed art, reading, photography, and putting his handy man skills to work to name a few hobbies.

LeRoy is survived by: life partner - Odeater E. Brown; sons - Carl Brown, Lekoy Brown Jr, Gillis L. Brown and Antoine D. Brown; sisters - Rosetta Brown, Glenda Selden, and Verline Stepney; as well as many grand children, nieces, nephews,
other family members, and friends.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brothers - Melvin Brown, Sylvester Brown, Terrence Traynham, and Jesse Traynham Jr.

LeRoy will be remembered for his work ethic, amazing sense of humor, sharp wit, wise words of wisdom, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. With a heart of gold, he was a loving father, son, husband, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who were warmed by his light.
