Leroy James Couser, was born to Carrie Smith and Edgar Couser on April 26, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. Our be- loved Leroy went on to be "A Jack of all Trades". He worked as a plumb- er, a civil servant for Baltimore City Animal Rescue and most of all an entrepreneur. In 2002, Leroy fell on hard times, he became homeless. He didn't let that get him down. He created a unique business plan. He owned the only store in Baltimore described as "A sort of Retro/Vintage/Thrift Store ", that was completely mobile and opened for 24 hours. Leroy unique talents got him noticed and he made the pages of the Bal- timore City Paper in August 2002. Leroy leaves to mourn: two daughters, Anita and Delisha; five grandchil- dren, two sisters, Ella Torain and Esther Taylor; two brothers which per- ceived him in death, Willie and Thurmon. Leroy leaves a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and his long time friend, Volker. Viewing Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
