Leroy Fitz, son of the late Orlandan and Sarah Clark Fitz, was born on August 3, 1951 in Dryfork, Virginia. He departed this life on May 8, 2006 after a lengthy illness. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Leroy made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed be everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and a devoted family man. Some of his favorite pastimes were gardening, working with his hands, cooking and caring for his youngest grandchild Bri. He met and married Brenda Keith, on Decemeber 12, 1968; and of that union was a daughter , Sharence Yorker. He leaves to mourn: his daughter, Sharnece Yorker; son-in-law, Morris Yorker; sister, Evelyn Taylor; brother, James Fitz, two sisters-in-law, Elanor Wicher and Lois Woods; three grandchildren, Cearia M. Rice, Brian K. Rice and Brianna K. Yorker; great-granddaughter, Jayona M. Dorsey; exwife and friend, Brenda Jackson; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
