son of the late Hubert and Lucy Grimes was born on

Leroy attended the Pitt County Schools, in Ayden, North Carolina. After
spending his early years in Pitt and Greene Counties, he relocated to
Baltimore, MD.
Leroy worked 20 plus years for Sterling Trucking Company, where he
was a devoted employee
.
He will be rememberedfor his love of cars
and motorcycles.

of Grifton and Leroy Maurice Scott of Atlanta, GA; stepson, Bryant Scott
of Baltimore, MD; sister, Patricia Grimes of Washington, DC; brother,
Michael Grimes of Greenville, NC; several grandchildren, aunts, Ernes-
tine Blow of Hookerton, NC and Mildred Cogdell of Camden, NJ; and a
