Leroy Jukes Sr. the beloved son of the late LueBertha and Wiliam Jukes Sr. was born on October 10,1954 in

Baltimore, Maryland. Leroy transitioned from labor to reward of a new eternal life with our father (JOD on March 24, 2025.

Leroy Jukes Sr. received his education in the Baltimore city public school system. He held employment at several jobs throughout his lifespan.

Leroy always had the biggest smile and loved being around family growing up with his brothers and sisters, they spent a lot of time in church in which they were often the church choir. Like several of his brothers and sisters, he developed a love of music and would often sing. As Leroy got older, he struggled with sickness but still kept a smile on his face.

Leroy would always joke with his family and loved to have fun with his nieces and nephews. He was the favorite uncle whom was affectionately called "THE FIVE DOLLAR MAN".

Leroy was the youngest of all his siblings. In which he had 5 siblings that preceded him in death, the late William Jukes Jr., Joseph and Thomas Jukes Sr., Mae Resa Harris and Stella Ware. He had two sons which preceded him in death as well: Terrell Weaver and Leroy Jukes, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory :one daughter, Dottice Jukes and two sons, Earl Weaver and William Jukes, one brother Normas Jukes and one sister Patricia Roy, one special friend Marlene Reid and two acquaintances Pansille Mitchell and Yvonne Savage, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
