Obituary

Lillie Maude Pryor quietly crossed over after a long illness on August 5, 2006. Lillie is the second born to Aubrey L. King Sr. and Frances Saunders King on August 20, 1941 in Mecklenburg County in South Hill Virginia. Lillie was educated inthe Virginia School System attending Linenburg Co. High School. Lillie married John Pryor in 1959. In 1972 Lillie moved her family to Baltimore, Maryland to live. Lillie had many occupations throughout the years in both Virginnia and Baltimore. Lillie was a humble, gentle person who smiled all the time. She was very friendly and welcoming to those she encountered. She lived for her children and their children. Early in her life she joined Flatrock Baptist Church in Southill Virginia. She joined Central Baptist Church and was a member over 30 years. Lillie leaves to cherish heer memory; a devoted significant other Mr. Alvin Bristol Brown and devoted long term friend Early Johnson, one brother; Noyse Elson King, three sons; Larry Pryor, Jasper Leon Pryor and Alfeus Pryor, three daughters; Florence Elizabeth Pryor, Lillie Mae Pryor Brooks and Carolyn Ann Pryor, three sisters-in-laws; April King, Marylee King and Virginia Pryor, two daughter-in-laws; Bridgette E. Pryor and Tashiba Pryor. one son-in-law; Douglas Brooks. Preceding Lillie to cross over is her parents and husband already mentioned two siblings; Audrey L. Pryor Jr., Vivian King Pryor. four children; McKenzie Johnson, Darryl Pryor, Robert Mac Pryor and Pamela Maureen Pryor. Lillie was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces,nephews, cousins and friends.
