Linda Denise Holmes, daughter of the late James Leon Sample and
Marian Elizabeth Nealey, was born October 11, 1951 in Baltimore,
Maryland. She departed this life on January 16, 2016.

She was educated in Baltimore City Schools where she received her
diploma from Forest Park Senior School in 1969.

In 1974 she became employed at C&P Company which is now known as
Yerizon jrom which she retired in 2003.

She had always been extremely grateful and loyal to those that held a
significant part in her earlier upbringing who were: Mr. and Mrs. Elijah
and Beatrice Dunn and Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Florence Austin.

She leaves to mourn: her only child, Carlotta Gomez; son-in-law, Miguel
Gomez; husband, George Holmes; grandson, Damon A. Daniels; granddaughters,
Kayla and Kirra Timber; great grandsons, Noah G. Pair and,
Devin 1. Daniels; brothers, Howard Lewis, Eddie Kelley, Richard Kelley
and Ronald Austin; sisters, Valerie Kelley, Grace Kennedy, Felisha Austin,
Marilyn Jones and Gail Marie Harrell and her beloved cousin, Faye Dunn
