Lisa Day, daugther of the late Earl Day, Sr. and Dorothy Day, became ill in 2008 and passed suddenly on June 21, 2011. She closed her eyes to her earthly family and said goodbye to be with her Heavenly Father. Lisa was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She graduated from Frederick Douglas High School, June 1982. Lisa managed serveral Burger Kings and worked at Mary Mervis in Lexington Market as well as Weiss' Deli. Lisa was a fun-loving and happy person. she loved to please everyone. She had a great love for her chidren and family. Lisa's smile would light up the room wherever she went. Lisa truly loved her basketball, football and music. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Day and Earl Day, Sr.; her sisters, Karen and Sharon Day; and nephews, Glenn Gray and Darius Johnson. Lisa leaves to cherish her memory; her daughter, Alisha Pendergrast; son, Duane Day; godson, Rashee Isaiah; two grandchildren, Jasmine and Ekim Davis; three sisters, Deborah Davis, Dorothea Wilson and Dawn Day; three brothers, Earl, Anthony, and Terry Day; aunt, Ann Brown; two uncles, Williams and Robert Watkins; two-brothers-in-law, James Wilson and Charlie Walker, Jr.; devoted longtime friend, Quincy Moore; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
