Lisa Ann Martin, daughter of Annie Ruth Martin and the late Dr. Elmer P. Martin was born on April 2,1971 in Atlanta Georgia.
Lisa was born with Down's Syndrome and was told by doctors that she will never make it past the age of five. However, Lisa would had turned the age of 50 this year of 2021. Lisa attended St. Louis special education school system until she graduated.
Lisa and her mother were very very close. Lisa loved her momma so much. They would sing songs together, eat and dance until the wee hours of the morning. Speaking of eating, All food was under attack with the exception of asparagus when Lisa was on the scene. Lisa and her momma would go out fine dining often. The bond between Lisa and her momma cannot be broken.
Lisa's daddy was her love. She was supper amazed at his presence. Tall with an incredible deep voice she would just giggle herself silly when daddy spoke. Especially when he said these favorite words, "Lisa you want some McDonald's" Had Lisa hook, line and sinker. Lisa had one sibling, Bertina. Born 18 months apart their connection was instant. As toddler's they shared a crib. As children they played, ate, bathed and slept together. Through preteens through adulthood wherever Bertina went there was Lisa. Lisa knew she was going to be fine and Bertina definitely assured her of that.
Lisa was an Aunt to Brittnae' and Kevin Wilson. She absolutely adored them. She would play with Nae's dolls and Kevin's trucks. Each had a special bond with their Aunt Lisa. Alice Manor Adult Medical Daycare Center was what Lisa " Lived" for. Lisa called the daycare center school and hell nor hot water was keeping her away. Staff adored her and she adored them back.

White (Annie), Aunt Jackquline Smith & Glasgow family, Aunt's: Flotetta Anderson & Gwen Thomas, Aunt: Renada Gilliard & Family, Alice Manor Adult Medical Daycare Center, State agents Ms. Miller & Ms. Johnson and a host of family and friends.
