Lizzie Hardy McDowell wife of the late Joe McDowell born September 29,
1922 to the late Georget Elsie Hardy. She departed this life on March 9,
2019 peacefully in her sleep.

She received her education in Sumter County. She had two siblings preced-
ed her in death, James Hardy and Marie Princes.

After moving to Baltimore, Maryland in 1957 to better herself, she worked
domestic, laundry work until retirement. She join Mount Lebanon Baptist
Church. She worshipped faithfully until her health declined.

She leaves who mourn: five children, George Hardy, Motha and James
McDowell, Lizzie (Bernest) Stokeling, Olivia Harris; 30 grandchildren, 42
great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Pinkie McDowell of DC; one daughter-
in-law, Barbara McDowell two preceded her in death Glady and Nora
McDowell; one son-in-law, Walter Harris and a host of nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends. Special thanks to Taye, Kenny Winell and Brigettes
for helping care for our mother.
