Obituary

Lloyd Francis Collick was born to the late Joseph Edward and Atlanta
Grace Collick. He was the fourth youngest of ten children. He was
affectionately known as Poppy, Pop-Pop, Heavy, Pal-Joey, and/or the
wonderful Uncle Lloyd.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Edna, siblings: Atlanta Grace,
Joseph Edward, Lorraine Princetta Seward, Romaine Lucille Chamberlain,
Cecelia Elizabeth Seward, James Randolph, William Earl 'Plungee',
Chinor Leon, Sterling Maurice 'Ike.'

He was a very loving, caring and supportive son. He used to help his
father at the Collick's Fish Market on Lanvale Street. He always spoke
fondly of his mother and showed love for his sisters and brothers.
He received his education in Baltimore, Maryland and matriculated
through the Baltimore City Public School system.

In his younger years, Lloyd lived in California for a short period of time.
When he returned to Baltimore, he was introduced to his future wife by
his mother. He went on to share forty-three beautiful years with his wife Edna.

Lloyd was very talented and was fondly referred to as a "Renaissance Man".
A few of his many talents were his skills as a painter and carpenter. The family
would reach out to him to paint and do wood-work for their homes. He was so
skilled with his hands, that he often times made instruments out of the wood
and gave them as presents to his nieces and nephews. He also had a knack for
being an entrepreneur at a very young age. He sold clothing, fruit, and other miscellaneous items.

Lloyd also had a wonderful voice. On occasions during happy and sad times,
he would join in song with the family. Lloyd was always able to bring a smile
to one of his loved one's face with his joyous melodies.

Lloyd was employed at Catalyst Research on Falls Rd for several years. When
his wife became ill, he retired from the Nursing Home to take care of her.

Throughout his lifetime, Lloyd was loved by his nieces and nephews. He was very
outgoing, helped out family members, and shared his love throughout the family.
Lloyd was extremely loving and selfless especially when it came to his wife,
children and grandchildren.

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memories: Edna Collick (deceased wife), John White
(Donnita-wife/ Jasmine-daughter; Steven-stepson; Tiffany-stepdaughter),
Debra White- Simms (Mansell-son), Richard "Toddy" (Tam era, Tyrone, Shabria, Tatianna, Tyson- children), Bruce (Terrance, Kevin, Brittany and Tyesha-children),
and Dr. LaReneque "Renee" Bartholomew (Mone't-daughter), a host of nieces,
nephews, great-grandchil- dren, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and
other special friends.

We will miss our father, our mentor, and our friend.
