Lloyd Eugene Holmes Sr. was born on June 1, 1947 in Baltimore,
Maryland to Mary Elizabeth Neal and the late Theodore Holmes.

He departed this life to be with the Lord on August 4,2017.

Lloyd was educated in the Baltimore City School System and
worked for the Baltimore City Sanitation Department. Early in life

he met and married Shirley Holmes and three children were born,
Lloyd Eugene Holmes Jr., Antonio Tyrone Holmes and Michael Eric Holmes.

Shortly after, two more children were born from Loretta Turpin;
Shyita Kabibi Holmes and the late Jaloni Holmes. Later, he met the love
of his life, Carolyn Johnson with whom he shared the rest of his life.
Lloyd enjoyed talking a lot, boxing, basketball, football and baseball.

To soothe his soul, he enjoyed lots of jazz.

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memories: Mother Mary Elizabeth Neal,
Sister Patricia C. Holmes, Brother Daxton Clemons,

Sons Lloyd Eugene Holmes Jr, Antonio Tyrone Holmes,

Michael Eric Holmes, and Pernell Brooks; Daughters Shyita Kabibi Holmes,
LaShon Brooks and Shantell Jones, Cousins Constance and Lewis Wheatley,
Mary Lane and Veronica Jenkins and a host of nieces and nephews

and too many grandchildren to be named.

He now gets to share the heavens with his brother Theodore Holmes.
