Loretta passed from this form of life on the evening of September 3rd, due to a

sudden health complication. At that time, her loving partner and children sur-

rounded her.

Loretta was born and raised in Baltimore City, Maryland. She received her

education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Shortly after graduation

from high school, Loretta gained employment with the State of Maryland for the

Department of Social Service, she served at DSS for 34 years until her retire-

ment.

Loretta is survived by: two children, LaTina and LaShawn; four grandchildren,

Shakyra, DeSean, Deon and Darrian; one great-grandchild, Za'mir. Loretta is

also survived by her sister, Vera and four brothers Rubin, John, James and

George and sister-in-law Margo Haynesworth. She is also survived by a host of

nieces and nephews. Lastly she is survived by her loving partner, Ivory Jones.
