Obituary

Lottie Marie Goodman quietly went home to be with the Lord on the morning of November 29, 2017 in the privacy of her home.

Lottie was born on December 8, 1932 to George and Alice Jackson (Smith) in Westmoreland County, Virginia. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Little Zion Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Virginia. She was a faithful member for many years.

She married Leroy Goodman shortly after her move to Baltimore, Maryland. From this union they were blessed with four children, Larry, Jerry, Alice and Sharon Goodman.

Lottie was employed by the Hottie Manufacturing Shoe Company. She was also employed by Reeds Warehouse followed by Baptist Aged Nursing Facility as a cook where she later retired.

She then united with her love Charles Lincoln. They remained together until he went home to be with the Lord.

She took great pleasure in cooking for family gatherings, friends and neighbors. Everyone enjoyed her cooking especially her pies. She would help anybody in need.

Beautiful memories of Lottie Goodman will linger forever in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Larry and Jerry Goodman; husband, Leroy Goodman; mother and father; a brother, George Jackson (Hortense); sisters, Rebecca Vicks (Robert) and Peggy Maiden (Gordon) and several step brothers and step sisters.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughters Alice and Sharon Goodman; daughter in-law, Deborah Goodman; sister, Annie Mae Hunter (William); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends and her special pet, Bootsie.
