Obituary

Louis Coleman, son of the late Calvin Coleman and Rosie Thomas, was born January 29, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland. He ac- cepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 9, 2015. Louis served in the United States Armed Forces; he entered on duty July 25, 1950, he was stationed in Korea and in Germany, and he was honorably discharged from the military July 25, 1953. Louis received his education in the Baltimore City Public school system. He was a man of uncompromising character and integrity. He had a strong work ethic and had a long working career. Louis worked for the Motor Freight Company and the Baltimore County Public School system, and he retired from both occupations. Louis was married to Victoria Coleman; he was the brother of Thelma Jackson; he had eleven brothers; one son, Louis Coleman, Jr., his daughter Tracey Louise Coleman; father-in-law, Aldustus Lamb; and his brother-in-law William Lamb all of whom preceded himfrom this life and are now rejoicing with him in heaven. Louis was a pleasant man who cared and provided for his family. He loved his children and grandchildren. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving companion, Dorothy Blount; daughters, Jacqueline Johnson, Sharon Wagner, Cheryl Wright, Berna- dette Coleman, Cynthia C. Brown, and Paulette Hall; sons-in-law, Earl Wright, Reginald R. Brown Sr., who affectionately nicknamed Louis "Gee Wiz", and William Hall; brother-in-law, Floyd Lamb; daughter-in- law, Jennifer Coleman; eighteen grandchildren, a host of great grand- children and other relatives and friends.
