Louis Edward Montgomery son of the late Louis West and Ruth E. Smith was born on November 20,1940 in
Baltimore Maryland. He was raised in West Baltimore and received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System. Eddie graduated from Douglass High School After graduation, he married Norma and they had three daughters. Bridie began his career serving in the United States Army as a paratrooper. After leaving the military, he was employed at the Maryland Dry dock company until 1984 as a ship-rigger. Bridie retired from the Baltimore City Public School system as a maintenance supervisor. He was a longtime member of Ames Memorial United Methodist Church. He appreciated his pastor Hudson's service to God Bridie enjoy and lived his life to the Fullest.

Orem Ave and Reisterstown Road was his stomping ground Ne enjoyed living in his childhood
neighborhood Bridie had a must list which included, nice cars, look good, loud crying music, gambling, money, women, and watching old Westems.

On April 30, 2024 the trumpet sounded calling Bridie to his new home. His number one nephew and friend Kevin Berkley and Dwight Montgomery preceded him in death. Bridie leaves behind wife Deborah B. Montgomery, three daughters Pamela Obanye, Kim Bryant, Sandra Moore,
five grandchildren Ashley, Bbony Bryant, Vincent, Nicolas, Carrington Moore, three great grandchildren Kayla Bryant, Qianna, Khitai Moore, sister Clarice Louis, one niece Deborah Thompson and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, stepchildren and step grandchildren.
