IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louis
Price
July 21, 1938 – June 3, 2019
Louis Price, son of the late Reverend Julian Price Sr. and Lizzie Mae
Brunson was born on July 21,1938 in Augusta, Georgia. He departed this
life peacefully on June 3, 2019 in the early morning hours.
Louis affectionately known as BUBBLES to family and friends, worked at
Bethlehem Steel Sparrows Point for many years and finished his career at
the University of Towson where he retired in 1998. He was a graduate of
Dunbar High School.
Bubbles was a kind and compassionate man who loved his family and
friends. He was also very active in social justice issues and a staunch
supporter of the Black Panther Movement and a participant in many
marches and rallies. He had a zest for life enjoying things like fishing and
music and was always a sharp dresser, one who had a hat for every
occasion.
In addition to his parents Louis was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ann
Price, his sisters Joyce Wood, Elouise Moseley, Julia Mae Williams and
nephew Willie Gene Moseley.
To cherish his memory, Louis leaves behind two brothers, Julian Price Jr.
and Steven Brumfield; two sisters, Martha Smith and Dorothy Price; his
daughter, Stephany Lynn Elliott; stepchildren, Thomas Booze, Kelly Booze
and nephew Andre Marble, niece Monique Mears whom he raised. He also
leaves a host of nieces and nephews family and friends.
Your battle is now over, no more tears flowing down your cheek. No more pain,
no more suffiring, now you are no longer weak. I still do not understand why
this had to happen to you, but I am proud to say you are my Dad, the greatest
man I ever knew. Now you are my Angel, so spread your wings out wide. Please
wrap them around me whenever you see me cry. Our time together was memora-
ble, and God took you way to fast, But the most precious thing to me was you
being there for my first breath And me being there for your last.
