Louise Hawkins, daughter of the late Norman and Alice Boyd was born on August 4, 1935. Louise better known as Wissie to all who loved her departed this life on July 27, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Wissie received her formal education from the Baltimore City Public School System and was later joined in matrimony to the late Donald Hawkins. Louise was employed at the Towson State University for several years before retiring from the State of Maryland. After Retiring, she pursued a career with Zenith Building Services. Louise loved spending time with her family and friends, she was guaranteed to give you several good laughs before she she left you. "What's up baby6 baby," is how she wold affectionately greet you and "10-4 and out" was her salutation upon leaving, but never goodbye. Louise found great joy in cooking and dancing, and talked plenty of trash. Louise succeeded three brothers, Jerome, Norman Jr., and Alfred Boyd. Louise leaves to cherish her loving memory, her daughter Angela Brown, son Charles Hawkins, son-in-law timothy Brown, two grandchildren Shawn and Keyia. Three great-grandchildren, Saterria, Shawn Jr. and Iyonna. Two sisters Florine Butler, and Rocksann McCray. Two sisters-in-law, Norma and Jeradine Boyd. One brother-in-law John McCray. A beloved nephew Joseph Evens and a host of other relatives and friends. One special friend Sylvia Gray.
