IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louvinia Mathilde
Blackston
October 2, 1939 – April 25, 2023
Louvinia M. Blackston left this world suddenly on April 25, 2023. Louvinia was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, Aunt, and friend.
Louvinia is survived by: Marilyn Blackston, MD, daughter, Walter Blackston, son; daughter-in-law, Karon Blackston; Grandchildren, Reggie Carter, Rev. Anthony Reliford, Ericka Blackston, Cory Blackston, Christina Bryant, and David Bryant; and a host of family and friends.
Louvinia loved spending time with her family in the garden, sewing, completing home projects, attending church services at New Psalmist Baptist Church, and creating delicious meals for her family. Louvinia was the ultimate sports fan. She loved the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. You could always hear her cheering (or yelling) on game day for her beloved teams.
Louvinia was a wonderful woman who her family and friends will miss.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Joseph H. Brown Funeral Home, 2140 N. Fulton Ave. Baltimore, MD 21217. Ms. Blackston's family will receive friends and family at 3:30 pm, and the service will begin at 4:00 pm.
