Lucy Ann Randolph Singleton daughter of the late Willie Randolph
and Bessie Fogle Randolph, was born on March 28,1941 in Sumter, South Carolina.
She departed this life on March 20, 2017 at home in Baltimore, Maryland.

Lucy received the majority of her education in Sumter, South Carolina, but gradu-
ated from Central High School in Detroit, Michigan after her family moved there in
her senior year.

In 1959, she relocated to Baltimore with her first husband and worked at Sheppard
Pratt Hospital for over 35 years, starting as a Maid and retiring as Director of
Environmental Services.

Lucy was married to the late Walter Singleton, Sr. and late Samuel Charles Lee.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her son,
Walter Singleton, Jr., six brothers, Clifford, Johnnie, AC, Willie, Jr., Levan, and
Wade, and four sisters, Ruth, Bessie, Vemelle, and Ella.

Lucy leaves to cherish her memories: a daughter, Helen Renee Lee Jones, and her
husband Brian Jones; three grandchildren, Michael (Suzanne) Randolph Singleton,
Brandon Xavier Lee Jones, and Sydney Victoria Lee Jones; two great grandchil-
dren, Alyssa and Austin Singleton; one sister, Dorothy Randolph Toney of Sumter,
South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends .
