Luther Henry Braxton, Jr., son of the late Pocahontas and Luther Henry Braxton Sr. was born December 10, 1941. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System and later went to work for his father, everyone knows him as Henry.

Henry was the eldest of his four siblings, growing up his parents gave him everything that a child ever dreams of. At the age of 15 Henry got his first convertible fresh off the showroom floor.

Henry loved to party. He would sneak out just so he could go to the

. Royal Theater, back then that is when every bar was on the corner. It was not hard to find him-Pennsylvania was his playground. He loved to venture into the bars and ride around with his loyal partner in crime lzel Clark and his English bulldog in the back.

He loved to dress, and he stayed fly. His room was fluttered with leather, suede and gator shoes organized by the housekeepers his parents hired. Yes, he had everything!

During his time of running the street, he met the love of his life, Frances. Up until his sudden death, they have been together for 62 years. From this union their two children Arlene and Luther the 3rd were born. Henry then worked for Perishable Delivery up until his retirement. Henry spent his retirement taking care of his family and raising his oldest granddaughter Niesha and later her two children Samiyah and Ryleigh whom he affectionately called Pumpkin and Yum-Yum Eat Em Up.

Henry now is joining several relatives in the afterlife, his parents Pocahontas and Luther Braxton, his only sister Ann Braxton, his grandson Jake Rogers, his three sisters in-law Virginia, Doris and Eunice and his brother in-law lzel.

He leaves behind to carry his legacy his loving and devoted wife Frances; three children, Troy, Arlene, Luther the 3rd; grandchildren, Niesha, Samuel (Shawnelle) and Shaquana; great-grandchildren, Samiyah, Ryleigh, Jake Jr, Londynn, Loghan, Landon, Samuel 3rd, Bailey, Toni, Tommie, Demetrius, Tanaje: Nori, Shaquana's six children; brothers, Samuel, Augustus, and Savino; daughter in-raw Kim; brother in-law, Boise; daughter in-love, Cherrie; special friends Naomi, Melvin, Rogers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
