Lydia Elizabeth Gilmore, daughter of William and Shirley Giles. She was given to the world on June 23, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. God called her home on July 1, 2014. Lydia received her education from the Baltimore City Public School System. She graduated from high school and went on to be- coming a nursing assistant. She then got married to William Gilmore in 1972. She had 4 wonderful sons, William Gilmore, Andre Gilmore, Michael Gilmore, and Kevin Lawson. Lydia was special because she touched the life of everyone that she encountered. She always had a minute to listen, a smile or laugh to give, and a shoulder to cry on. She always had wonderful stories to tell!! She had so much love to share, she devoted her life to taking care of her friend of20 years Mr. Lawrence Hammond. They were truly a special couple. She leaves to mourn: her sons, William Gilmore and Kevin Lawson; step daughters, Valerie and Joyce Hammond; daughter-in-law, Linda Lawson; 4 grandsons, Kevin and Kenneth Lawson, Jermaine Miller and Jay Cauthorne; 2 brothers, Clarence and Herbert Giles. She leaves her AU1'lt Bertha Gray and over 100 nieces and nephews and a host of friends who love's and will truly miss her. Lydia was preceded in death by her sister and brothers: Darnell King, Johnny Giles and William Giles; and her son, Michael Gilmore. Memorial Service Joseph H.
