MS. MABEL DELORES HAWKINS was born to the late Leslie and Lillie Thomas on June 22, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on January 31, 2013. She received her education at Frederick Douglass High School in Baltimore, Maryland. She also completed one year of college at the Community College of Baltimore. She became an employee at Mart's Department Store as an Customer Service Rep. For many years, she was a member of a social club called, "Six Friends Plus One" which hosted a number of social events and trips to various casino's. Everyone that came in contact with her knew that her doors was always open and was willing to help you no matter what the problem was. If you needed a place to eat or just to rest your head; you could always count on Ms. Delores. Ms. Mabel Delores Hawkins, better known as "Ms. Delores" was married to the late Benjamin Hawkins and the late James "Bank Roll" Hughes. She leaves to mourn: two sons, Tyrone Hawkins and Benjamin Hawkins, Jr.; one granddaughter, Kinyottia Hawkins; three great-grandchildren, Larry Andrews, Keon Sneed and Korri Sneed; a host of nieces, nephews; and other relatives and a lot of friends. You really will be missed by all of us who loved and cherish you dearly. No more pain and suffering; for God had called you home.
