Mabel Lula Kelley, is the late daughter of Frances and Sylvester Gaines. Born on February 21, 1938 in Baltimore City and departed this life on January 17, 2006. Mabel attended the Baltimore Public Schools. Soon after she found successful employment in Queens, New York. She recieved many certificates in early childhood development. In New York she married the late Carroll Dixson and from that union, five children were born. After many years in New York, Mabel returned to Baltimore in the early 1970's with her family. In Dec. 1979 she married Raymond O. Kelley who proceeded her in death on February 8, 2004. She was a long term member of ''Agape Miracle Church'' were she earned the name Mother Kelley. She was a steward. Mabel loved to help people in any way she could. Mabel stood in the gap for many.
