Mable O. Spencer-Gibson, daughter of Mary Butler and the late Alfonso Spencer Sr., was born on January 10, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland. She suddenly departed this life on December 12, 2007 after a long illness. She received her education in Baltimore City Schools. She was employed until her illness at Sinai Hospital, where she was well known and loved by everyone who crossed her path. Mable attended and became a member at St. Paul Institutional Baptist Church, where she was baptized into the Christian life by Pastor Tyrell Laster. She will always hold a very, very special place in her heart for her grandson Demani, who was there with her during her illness. She also held a special place in her heart for Mable Queen, Mr. Frenchie, Darnell, Tavy, Rumpy, Mrs. Pat, Mrs. Gwen and Mrs. Jackie. She leaves to cherish her memory; her mother, Mary Spencer-Butler; four daughters, Loise, Adrienne, Carla and Sierra; three stepchildren, Ray, Sophia and Derrick; eight grandchildren, Darnell, Rolston, Alfonso, Artavious, Ar'Jai, Demani, Adrian and Artavia; five sisters, Mary, Yolanda, Nisey, Lucinda and Piggy; two brothers, Louis and Davy; three stepbrothers, Wayne, Michael and Louis; two stepsisters, Mary Ellen and Alice; two brothers-in-law, Anthony Sweeper and Christino Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
