Magola Evans, daughter of the late William and Hattie Armstrong was born on July 13, 1929, in Jackson Springs, North Carolina. She entered into eternal resting on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Magola received her education in North Carolina Public School System. She made her final home in Baltimore, MD in 1953, after meeting and marring the love of her life, the late Eugene Evans Sr. Out of this union they raised six children together, Michael, Bridget, Edgar, Efrem, Sr., Eugene, Jr. Xavier, Sr. Proceeding Magola in death was her late sisters, Lucille Watkins and Shirley Harrington and her late grandson, Corey Fontaine. Magola was truly a child of God; letting everyone she met, know how much she loved the Lord. Everyone that met Magola could do nothing but love her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, devoted sister, cousin, sister-in-law and friend. Margo as her family and friends called her, loved taking long walks, sitting on the porch and listening to her jazz and gospel music. In addition she loved her lunch dates and long conversations with her close friends, Thelma Baylor, Norma Cox and Lillian Fauntaine, and just love for her fellowman. She leaves to mourn: Her children; seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Dana, Torey, Efrem, Jr., Ashley, Xavier, Jr. and Ava; one great-grandson, Lance; two siblings, Maxine and Walter; two daughters-in-law, Karen and Jennifer; sister-in-law, Lucille; nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
